¶ Overview
This is a Pro driver that will install input drivers to control and get feedback from the Dahua hubs. The driver will get triggers from the Dahua hub in real time and trigger events based on detected objects.
¶ Device Configuration
Using the Web Interface, Set Security to use HTTPS as pictured below
Using the Desktop tool, PSS, make sure the events for Motion Detection and VideoLoss are enabled for each channel. Open the Device CFG page, click on the NVR, Under Event, set the parameter under Video Detect🡪Motion Detect and Video Loss. Click Save after each change.
¶ Driver Configuration
- Open Input/Output, Communication Devices, Add New Communication Device, choose DahuaPro and Click Import.
- If you receive a warning that this is not a Native Elan driver, click OK
- The Driver will automatically go into trial mode for 30 days. Wait for about 10 seconds and the Status will turn Green.
- The Driver Will Install two input/Output Driver, Dahua and DahuaNVR
- Add the Innovo Activation Code received in the email.
- Add your Username and Password.
- Click on Get Channels
- The Driver will automatically get all channels attached to NVR
- The Dwell Timer is the timer that the driver will not report any events after a particular event was triggered. The driver will automatically reset from On → Off after the dwell timer.
¶ Using the Driver
The Driver will automatically install an Input Driver for Information about the NVR itself and a driver for each channel (camera) detected. Each Camera has the following Events that can be detected.
Create an Event Map for State Change Off -→On . Do Not create one for On→Off. The driver will automatically reset the value from On→Off after the dwell timer.
