Magic Cube Pro is a Control4 driver suite that bridges your Control4 system with Home Assistant, enabling seamless control of a wide range of smart home devices and platforms. The Pro driver acts as the central hub, automatically discovering and installing individual device-type drivers for lights, thermostats, locks, blinds, garage doors, media players, sensors, and more.
The driver communicates with the Magic Cube (Home Assistant) hub on your local network using mDNS discovery and a REST API, retrieving a secure bearer token to authenticate all subsequent commands.

The Magic Cube Pro suite consists of a main Pro driver and several client sub-drivers (one per device type). All drivers must be added to your project before configuration can begin.

When the Magic Cube Pro driver is first added to a project, it enters a 90-day Trial Mode automatically. No activation is required during this period. The driver will be fully functional for 90 days from the date of first installation.
The Driver Status and Activation Status properties will display a message such as "Trial Mode will expire in X days". The trial countdown timer checks the status every hour automatically.
Activation is automatic and tied to the Magic Cube's Innovo license, which is provisioned by Innovo or your dealer — there is no activation key to enter in this driver. To activate:
The project must also have the Innovo Activation Driver installed and activated; the Driver Status property will prompt you if it is missing or not yet activated.
NOTE: If the IP Address is changed after activation, the driver will reset its activation state and require re-validation. Run Refresh Token and then Update Drivers after any IP address change.

NOTE: If the hub is not found, verify that the Magic Cube device is powered on and connected to the same local network as the Control4 controller, and that mDNS traffic is not blocked. You can also enter the IP address manually in the IP Address property.
Forces a fresh authentication token from the Magic Cube hub. The token is required for all API calls (device discovery, entity queries, and platform installation) and is stored persistently across driver restarts.
After selecting the Entity Type and Platform (see Section 6), run Install Platform to begin device discovery and driver installation.
NOTE: The driver must be activated (or in trial mode) before Install Platform will execute.
Pushes the current configuration (IP address, token, activation state) to all installed sub-drivers. Run this any time the IP address or token changes.
Re-fetches entity metadata from the Magic Cube hub. Driver Status shows "Metadata refreshed" when complete.
The Entity Type property determines which category of smart devices you are installing. Changing this selection will automatically show the relevant Platform dropdown and hide all others.
Available entity types include: Lighting, Climate, Blinds, Garage Door, Lock, Media, Power Sensors, Air Quality, Binary Sensors, and Automation.
Once the Entity Type is chosen, select the specific brand or integration protocol from the Platform dropdown that appears. This tells the driver which Home Assistant integration domain to query for devices.
If your platform is not listed, select Other from the dropdown and manually enter the Home Assistant domain string in the Other Platform field.

When Install Platform is executed, the Pro driver performs the following steps automatically:
NOTE: Device installation uses a staggered timer to avoid overwhelming the Control4 system when adding many devices at once. Large deployments may take a minute or two to complete.
Each sub-driver installed by the Pro driver operates independently and has its own documentation covering device-specific commands, properties, and behaviors. Refer to the documentation for each driver type as needed:
NOTE: Each sub-driver receives its configuration automatically from the Pro driver. You do not need to configure IP address or token settings on sub-drivers individually.
