¶ Linking Streaming Services to Lyrion Music Server
Complete Setup Guide for Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, and Pandora
Important Notice About Plugins
Lyrion Music Server has many plugins available. Some work great, others not so much. Innovo has tested the following plugins and confirmed interoperability. Before adding extra plugins not covered in this guide, please check with support@innovo.net first.
Critical Warning — Do NOT Install ShairTunes
Do NOT install "ShairTunes" or "ShairPlay" from the Lyrion plugins library. The MC-DJ uses its own version of AirPlay that is incompatible with these plugins. If you install either plugin, it will completely break all AirPlay functionality on your device.
Lyrion Music Server (formerly Logitech Media Server) supports integration with multiple streaming services through third-party plugins. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for linking your Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, and Pandora accounts to your Innovo MC-DJ.
Spotify Connect allows you to stream directly from the Spotify app to your LMS players:
In Settings → Advanced → Spotty, scroll to the "Player" section
Check the box to enable Spotify Connect for each player you want to use
Click "Apply" to save
Your LMS players will now appear as available devices in your Spotify app
Firewall Note: If authentication fails, ensure your firewall allows outbound connections on ports 80, 443, and 4070. You may also need UDP port 5353 for device discovery.
Important: Without the ARL token, you can browse Deezer but cannot play audio. ARL tokens expire periodically — you may need to obtain a new one every few months if playback stops working.
The Pyrrha plugin (named after Pandora's daughter in Greek mythology) enables Pandora streaming. Works with free accounts but a paid subscription removes ads.
