¶ Overview
This is a driver to read and update Temperature, Humidity, Battery and last reported values from Shelly HT Gen 2 and Gen 3. Readings are updated live as the devices reports them. This driver doesn't poll but rather listen for broadcast from the device.
¶ Supported Devices
¶ Device Configuration
This will only work right on the Nice Core 8.8.603 or higher.
You must have Multicast, IGMP Snooping, and Broadcast enabled on your network including the wireless segments
On your Shelly HT device, make sure to do the following:
¶ Device Setup:
Using the Shelly App (this doesn’t work from the Web Interface of the Shelly Device)
Open the back of the Shelly HT Device and have the pairing button exposed. When you click the button within a few seconds, you will see the message “SEt” This means that device is on the network and in pairing or writing mode. You will need to do this several times during setup and installation of the driver.
¶ Driver Configuration
¶ Installation Process
- install one driver per HT device. There is no auto discover option. Each HT must be installed using the same process below.
- Add the driver under Utilities –> Air Devices
- Change Name, Display Name
- Enter IP Address of the HT, Enter Activation Code if any (if no activation code the driver will default to 30 day trial)
- Hit Apply (DO NOT HIT INSTALL YET)
- Once again press the Pairing button on the back of the HT and wait for the SEt message to appear on the front.
- Now click Install (You have 3 minutes to complete this step)
- Click off the utilities tab into any other tab, then come back the Utilities tab, then the driver. If all goes well, you should see the INPUTS listed at the bottom of the driver screen.
- Open the Interfaces tab and add the driver to the desired Interface.
- To Set Triggers or adjust Min / Max Values, Open the Input / Output tab, go to Numeric Inputs and Adjust as needed.
¶ Event Maps
To Create Event Maps add Numeric Triggers and then use those triggers in any event map
Go To Input / Output —> Numeric Triggers —> Add
Then set desired values for the trigger
Create the Event Map
Open the Viewer, the gauges are automatically drawn and updated whenever the device reports.
¶ Using The Driver
If the Device does not report for 24 hours, the Connected will show in RED
You can also create a custom page and add each gauge individually.

Add Gauge (Numeric Input) for inputs that have value such as Temp or Humidity and Gauge (State Input) for controls such as Connected.
Connect it to the desired input.
