You must first create a local admin account to use in the Integration. Follow the instructions below to create your local UniFi User Account.
Log in to your software-based/self-hosted UniFi Controller using the new interface and follow the the steps below.
Navigate to the Settings section
Select System, then click on the Administration tab
Click on Add New Admin and make sure to disable the Remote Access checkbox
Enter an email address, username, and set a password after selecting the Set Admin Password checkbox
Make sure to take note of the username and password.
Assign the necessary Site Permissions to the new account, ensuring it has the same level of access as your current UniFi cloud account. Generally, selecting the Site Administrator role will be required. For some types of applications (e.g. for reporting tools) the View Only role will be sufficient. Here's what the new local Admin account should look like:
Click Invite to save the new Admin account.
Do NOT miss the following step.
Log into the UniFi Controller using the new credentials, you will be asked to update the password. Take note of the updated password.
Use this username and password in the integration instructions below.
Install Magic Cube. Set up all your devices in Magic Cube and name them according to your needs. See Device Integration Notes at the end
The driver relies on a static IP address for each Magic Cube device. Assign a Static IP address using DHCP reservations in your router. If the device IP address changes, then change it manually in the Elan Configurator
Starting with Magic Cube Aura and V5 Patch 3, you no longer need to add the token. The token is added using the Magic Cube Admin Interface. See Magic Cube User Manual.
It is recommended that you follow the below installation process to ensure you are running the latest version of the.
Install the Unifi Integration to the Magic Cube using the above video as a guide.
Add the driver to the Nice Controller.
Open Utilities Section, Power Devices, Add new Power Device.
In V2, click Import MagicCubeUbiquitiPOE driver.
The Driver will automatically go into trial mode for 30 days. Wait for about 10 seconds and the Status will turn Green
Add the Innovo Activation Code that you received in the email.

Click Apply.
Click Discover Magic Cube, and the driver will discover and populate the IP address of the Magic Cube device on the network. If the device is not discovered or you have more than one, enter the IP address manual.
