¶ Overview
This is a two-way driver to control and receive feedback from the QingPing Air Quality Monitor.
¶ Supported Features
- Auto Discovery of all supported Air Quality Sensors
- Auto Installation of all discovered devices
- Feedback for Air Quality Monitoring in graphic and text modes.
- The Driver will return
- Dust, Temp, Humidity, Pressure, VOC, CO2, CO, Ozone, NO2, and the virus score
- Numeric triggers for all measured values using Event Maps
- Some models maybe sold under a different brand such as Mejia.
¶ Supported Models
- Air Monitor (Must be Paired manually using the driver after being added to the app)
- Air Monitor Lite (No Pairing required, pairing is done in the app)
- Qingping Temp & RH Monitor (Both H and M versions) (Requires Bluetooth Gateway Bridge)
- Qingping Temp & RH Monitor Lite (Requires Bluetooth Bridge)
- Qingping Bluetooth Clock (Requires Bluetooth Bridge)
- Qingping Bluetooth Alarm Clock (Requires Bluetooth Bridge)
¶ Required Options:
- The driver uses the QingPing+ App. Mi Home is not supported
Any feature not specifically noted as supported should be assumed to be unsupported.
¶ Device Configuration
Install the QingPing+ Sensors according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The Driver uses the QingPing cloud to operate, so an internet connection must be present. Make sure to add the sensor to the QingPing+ Consumer App (Business App is not supported) and check its operation.
APP API KEY
The driver requires you to create and generate an API Key using the QingPing website. Follow these steps to generate the required fields.
- Go to https://developer.qingping.co/ and sign in with the same account you used for the app.
IMPORTANT NOTE
When logging into the QingPing developer website, sometimes it doesn’t accept password, try log in via code. Request a code, you will receive it via SMS or Email. Enter the code instead of the password.
- In the Top right side, click on the profile name and choose Access Information
- On the left side pane, click on Apply Access. Follow the steps and an App Key and an App Secret will be generated.
¶ Driver Configuration
¶ Installation Process
IMPORTANT NOTE:
It is recommended that you follow the below installation process in order to ensure you are running the latest version of the [driver].
- Unzip and Extract all EDRVC Files from downloaded file into the Driver Installation folder.
- Open Utilities, Air Devices, Add New Air Device
- Navigate to the folder where the driver is located and Choose the QingPingUtilities Driver.
- The Driver will automatically go into trial mode for 30 days. Wait for about 10 seconds and the Status will turn Green.
- Enter your activation code, the App Key and App Secret from the steps above and Click Install.
- The Driver will install all the Air inputs.
- that token and click on Pair
- The device will be paired with your account and will begin transmitting data to the driver.
- Do Not Hit Install until you have paired all the Air Monitors.
- You can always go back, pair another one, and then Install.
- Click Apply then Install, wait until the driver is authorized for about 10 seconds. The driver will install all Sensors associated with the account.
- Recommended Polling Time is 5 minutes. Any less may not provide updated information.

¶ Using the Driver
Add the Driver to the desired interface . It will automatically graph all value.
Go to Interface, go to your Touch Screen, Utilities , Choose QingpingUtilities click on the right arrow and then Apply.
Open The viewer, Click on Utilities and you will be able to see the graphs.

¶ EVENT MAPS Based On Numeric Triggers
- To Create Event maps based on Sensor Values, use Numeric Triggers. See Example below or for other examples see this Article.
- Create the numeric trigger first, then use it in an event map.

If you see the word Numeric next to the Sense Input Variable name, such as QingPingCO2 Numeric or QingPingTVOC Numeric it means that those triggers can be setup using Elan Numeric Trigger Option under the Input / Output Tab. Do Not use Create Event 🡪State Change. This has no effect.
 Note: Elan will show the name of the general name of the variable. If you have multiple drivers installed or multiple drivers with the same name such as QingPingCO2 or QingPingTVOC, you have no way to tell which sensors it belongs to by the name. The best way to determine which numeric trigger belongs to which driver is by their order of appearance and installation. The order of the variable appears in the list is the same as the order of the QingPing specific sensors under Sense Inputs.
