Go to Sense Inputs, then add New Input Controller.
Navigate to the folder where the driver is located and Choose the WakeOnLan
You’ll receive a warning that this is not a Native Elan driver, click OK
The Driver will automatically go into trial mode for 7 days. Wait for about 10 seconds and the Status will turn Green.
MAC ADDRESS: (Required) Fill in the MAC Address of the device you want to wake up
Number of WOL Packets: (Required, default 1) Choose the Number of WOL packets you want to send. Usually 1 is enough, however your device might require more
Delay Timer: (Optional, default 5) Choose the Delay Timer after sending the WOL to check if the command was successful
IP Address / Port: (Optional) If these two fields are left blank, the driver will not havea feedback (two-way) function. If IP address / Port are entered, the driver will try to connect automatically with the device to check if the WOL command was successful. You must find a port number on the device that can receive TCP connections. Any port number will do. To find a port number, turn on your device, use a tool such as NMap or Advanced Port Scanner. It’s recommended that you first run the scanning tool when the device is off then when it’s on and pick the port number that is only accessible when the device is on.
For Activate / Deactivate Feature please see Integration Note For All Drivers document.
The Driver has a built Event that will trigger whenever a WOL packet is sent and the driver receives a connection confirmation. This will only trigger if option (D) above is set.
To Create an Event, Right click the WakeOnLan à State à Create Event Map For à State Change off
NOTE: the driver doesn’t detect the reverse state of On to Off
