¶ Setup Trane / Nexia / American Standard
Make sure the thermostat is operational and connected to the Cloud using the App.
Nexia/American Standard/Trane can be auto-discovered by the Magic Cube running Magic Cube.
If an instance was found, it will be shown as “Discovered”, which you can select to set it up right away.
¶ If it doesn’t auto discover
- Browse to your Magic Cube instance.
- In the sidebar click on Settings.
- From the configuration menu select: Devices & Services.
- In the bottom right, click on the Add Integration button.
- From the list, search and select “Nexia/American Standard/Trane”.
- Follow the instruction on screen to complete the set up.
¶ Once the Thermostats are installed
Go the Settings, Devices & Integrations and browse over to Nexia integration. You should be able to control the Tstat from the HA interface.
¶ Install Magic Cube Climate Driver
You can now proceed with installation of Magic Cube Climate Pro Driver. From the drop down menu select Platform: Trane / Nexia / American Standard, click Apply then Install.
