Adding Adapter and Devices Using JS UI

Before starting verify that your ZWave Adapter is recognized and working. You should have plugged in the adapter before booting up the Aura. If you didn’t, now is a good time to power off the cube, plug in the adapter and power it back on. Use the menu options to power off the cube (Do NOT just pull the power cable, that should always be a last resort!)

Click on the Control Panel Icon and verify that you adapter is listed. If it is not see the troubleshooting section.

Adding A Device Using JS UI Manager

You can add a device directly through Home Assistant or you can do it in the Z-Wave manager UI. Any device added to the Z-Wave manager UI will automatically be recognized in Home Assistant

To Add a device, click on the burger menu in the lower right hand side of the screen (You might have to scroll down)

Choose Manage Nodes (The infinity symbol, Jason!)

Follow the prompts. Name the Node and the Location (that information will be imported automatically into Home Assistant and later the control system)

Verify the device has been added
